 When I started working with Jessica, I had an expected outcome in mind. I thought she was going to help me focus and be more organized so that I could find a better balance among my roles as a wife and mother, a fitness instructor and studio owner, and in my newest venture of building a home-based business. My, how plans can change! Jessica asked me the hard questions right away. | I recently had my review with two execs. They gave me a little raise, and a great review. The first thing they said was “You have such a great attitude. It’s amazing. And it’s contagious. Everyone feels it.” Jess, that’s YOU!! That’s all your work! I couldn’t believe my ears. I got goose bumps hearing that–because I DO have a good attitude! And I wanted to tell you in a way that would make you realize how talented and special you are–and strong because you moved a mountain here. I can’t BELIEVE how stuck I was. It was a really miserable, dark place you pulled me, very gently, out of. I appreciate so much, and admire, the way you hung in there. I hope you do know how much of an impact you make–I don’t know how you do it, but you do. I’m sure I will be returning at some point…I’ve got my eyes open for what’s ahead while trying to really appreciate what I have, and will no doubt stumble and call you!

 I turned to Jess when I was thrust into both personal and professional changes in my life. I was three years into a four-year program to change my career with a full time job surrounded by family and life-long friends when my husband’s job was transferred to a different state. I was an introvert facing a new home, new potential friends, and a new job/career. I was scared to death!  I turned to Jess at a pivotal time in my life: planning my 40th birthday. At first, it seemed a frivolous effort in which to enlist a coach but, having had more than my share of crappy birthdays through the years, I wasn’t going to leave this one to chance.Jess helped me strip away the “shoulds” and external expectations of what a 40th birthday should look like and drill down to what really mattered to me. And I was thrilled with what I uncovered–I didn’t want a big party or lots of people around. I’m an introvert, for heaven’s sake! What I did want was to spend time with my dearest friend who lives 700 miles away. But how? And where? And when? Doing what? (Ack, the details!) And then, just like magic the vision came to me one morning, and I immediately invited my friend to fly in for a long weekend over my birthday. It could not have been more perfect. The timing and the details–every single thing–proved to me that it was exactly what was meant to be.It was truly magical. And Jess helped make it happen.
